The NFC Goals:


The NFC Mission:
To encourage the residents of the Countryside neighborhood to work -- in cooperation with the city of Westminster -- to improve and maintain both privately-owned and common areas within the Countryside community.
Introduction:
Neighbors for Countryside (NFC) is a grassroots organization of concerned residents – owning private property within the boundaries of the Countryside subdivision, located in the City of Westminster, Jefferson County, Colorado -- whose primary objective is to preserve the individual property values within the subdivision.
General Statement:
The officers of the NFC shall be Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Recorder/communication coordinator and Treasurer. Each officer shall be appointed by vote, of the property owners within the Countryside subdivision, for a service term of two years. These officers will be collectively referred to as the “NFC Board.” The Chairperson, acting within the advice and consent of the NFC Board, will appoint various committee directors. These directors shall assist in the development and execution of various projects -- determined to be beneficial to both the common and individual interests of residents -- within the boundaries of the Countryside subdivision.
CHAIRPERSON: The Chairperson shall direct, supervise, coordinate, and have general control over the affairs of NFC Board, committee directors, and volunteers. The Chairperson shall preside over and lead all meetings of the NFC Board and of the Countryside subdivision community.
VICE CHAIRPERSON: The Vice Chairperson may act in place of the Chairperson in cases of absence, inability or failure to act, and shall perform other assigned duties, and assume authority as needed, as delegated by the Chairperson and/or NFC Board.
RECORDER: The Recorder shall maintain accurate minutes of all NFC Board and general Countryside subdivision meetings. These meeting minutes shall be posted on this website. The Chairperson, acting within the advice and consent of the NFC Board, may appoint an Assistant Recorder who may act in place of the elected Recorder in cases of absence, ability or failure to act. The Recorder and the Assistant Recorder may act alone, or in conjunction, to perform other assigned duties, as delegated by the Chairperson and/or NFC Board. The recorder shall also act as the communications director.
The Communications Director shall be responsible for maintaining this website, and shall work in conjunction with a Webmaster to produce a clear and concise website. This website shall be the primary mode of communication between the NFC and the residents of the Countryside subdivision; informing the residents of all activities conducted by the NFC. The Communications Director, acting within the advice and consent of the NFC Board, shall disseminate all pertinent NFC information to the residents of the Countryside subdivision. The Chairperson, acting in conjunction with the advice and consent of the NFC Board, may appoint an Assistant Communications Director who may act in place of the elected Communications Director in cases of absence, ability or failure to act. The Communications Director and the Assistant Communications Director may act alone, or in conjunction, to perform other assigned duties, as delegated by the Chairperson and/or NFC Board.
TREASURER: The Treasurer shall be responsible for all funds of the NFC, and shall deposit all such funds in the name of the group in such depositories as designated by the NFC Board. The Treasurer shall keep accurate and complete books of accounts, and records of all financial transactions. The Treasurer shall present reports during all NFC Board meetings and during the quarterly meeting of the Countryside subdivision community. The Chairperson, acting with the advice and consent of the NFC Board, may appoint an Assistant Treasurer who may act in place of the elected Treasurer in cases of absence, ability or failure to act. The Treasurer and the Assistant Treasurer may act alone, or in conjunction, to perform other assigned duties, as delegated by the Chairperson and/or NFC Board.
